Poopsie Surprise Unicorn
Poopsie Surprise Unicorn is a big hit this Christmas, and I have heard many friends mentioning that their daughters would like it and it is on their Christmas list. So having the chance to review this, Grace was over the moon to see this waiting for her upon return home from school.
Let’s say it didn’t last long in its packaging! The packing just screams excitement to a child, bright and cheerful, Grace couldn’t wait to see what Unicorn Surprise she would reveal inside.
She started opening her Poopsie Surprise Unicorn you do this by peeling the cardboard which winds down, on the reverse side you are presented with small mysterious packets.
Each of these packets contain everything we need for our Poopsie Surprise Unicorn.
Opening the container, we now reveal our Poopsie Surprise Unicorn along with the beaker, mixing tool, feeding spoon and potty.
We revealed Oopsie Starlight, she is just so sweet. Just look at her long candy floss coloured her, Grace was really thrilled, and said she it looks like her hair when she had it rainbow coloured too, instant bond!
We now went on to reveal our mystery packets.
Inside we revealed :-
Unicorn Shimmer
Unicorn Food
Key Chain
Nappy
Bottle
Brush
Unicorn Magic
Shirt
So much to get started with here, so following the very detailed instructions, we began to make Unicorn Poop!
Using the unicorn shimmer we placed into the toilet bowl, then Grace used the spoon to feed our unicorn. (On the back of the unicorns head there is a dial which you turn to the feeding position).
By using 5ml of tap water, we tipped this into the toilet bowl and Grace used this to also feed her unicorn. Next we placed the empty toilet bowl into the potty. Make sure you tie your unicorns hair back before you get slimey as you don’t want it to spoil.
Next we emptied one packet of Unicorn Food and 25ml of water, fastened the bottle with the lid and shake for 60 seconds.
Feed your unicorn her food, Grace loved this by squeezing the bottle into her mouth. You then remove her nappy and sit her on the potty. By pressing her belly button she will then poop!
Our first attempt didn’t seem to go to well as when we fed her the liquid went straight through and went everywhere! Her belly button was already pressed in (which I’m guessing Grace might have done whilst she played with her after opening), I feel the instructions would have benefited a quick notice to say make sure belly button hasn’t been pressed before feeding.
But upon trying a second time with our next set of unicorn food, we made sure the belly button had not been pressed and it worked brilliantly.
We waited for the slime to sit in the toilet bowl for about 30 minutes, then added half a packet of Unicorn Magic to the slime along with a sprinkling of Unicorn Sparkle.
You can store your slime in the keychain, although this is only enough for one portion of slime you make. The rest Grace stored in the bottle.
Our Thoughts
Oopsie Starlight has become best friends with Grace, they now even wear their hair the same with matching hair bows!
This has been great fun and the slime, after it has set is enjoyable to play with (yes I’m a mum that said slime was enjoyable!) But it goes more rubbery and not ‘sloppy slime.’
