Getting Started with the L.O.L. Surprise! Movie Maker
Grace couldn’t wait to get started on L.O.L. Surprise! Movie Maker she was so ready to make her very own movie! She loves L.O.L. Surprise, which little girl doesn’t?!
Collect and Narrate L.O.L. Surprise Dolls, Pets and More
Create and narrate your own L.O.L. Surprise! Story, choose whether your story will be LAUGHS, DRAMA or a huge PARTY… No doubt though, it’ll be fabulous. Bling it on!
The app is fairly simple to use, firstly we decided to choose which L.O.L. Surprise! characters we wanted for our movie, just scroll through and click them and then they will appear onto the movie screen. You can choose 3+ L.O.L. Surprise! dolls for every scene/
You can change the size of the character or double clicking will flip the image.
We can then choose which accessories we would like. Just simply tapping the image out of the selection will bring it onto the movie screen and you can place. Once again, just double tapping to flip so you can have. I.e. a bottle to appear situated into your characters hand. You can choose to enlarge or reduce the size of to fit perfectly for your show.
Okay, important task next. Deciding your backdrop. Perhaps this would have been better if we did this at first choice so we could can visualise characters when applying other features. But Grace decided on the funfair setting. So much fun!
Now when you are happy with your characters and accessories, you can then choose your background music choice.
3,2,1 snip.
Name your title of your movie, and who directed it. As you press the checkered flag, you are now set to make your movie.
Recording your voice if you want you now use your finger on the screen and move your characters around and make your movie. You can move more than one character at a time too, just use two fingers.
When you have finished your movie, just press stop!
Awaiting now for you to watch your L.O.L. Surprise movie back. This is just a quick demo I have popped together, one of Grace’s videos I will add further down. SO much fun!

Peek a Boo Grace with L.O.L. Surprise!
Grace has been really enjoying this app and playing around with her characters, its amazing how American her accent becomes when she is really into this movie making and speaking for her doll characters. She imagines herself to be a YouTube star so I’m sure this is where it’s came from.
Grace chose to make a special hide and seek scene for her movie.
She chose quite a busier looking scene so this would give her move chances to hide the characters and disguise them within furniture and scenery.
She set her characters in to position across the movie screen, decreasing the size of the dolls. This was actually the second attempt as she accidentally forgot to save her first.
Characters into position, she chose her Lil Pet dog to search out the L.O.L. Dolls in this hide and seek game.
Here is a quick snip of Grace, I apologise in advance for her sniffling, it’s definitely that time of year again!!

You’ve seen The Winter Disco Movie, now it is time for you to take your place in the Director’s chair! Your children will have so much fun with this app, it has been so much fun for Grace and it is giving Grace the boost in confidence she needs to speak over videos and she is so happy to show me them when she is done.
