WIPE AWAY YOUR HALLOWEEN HORRORS WITH WATERWIPES
FROM WICKED WITCHES TO STICKY FINGERS: THE IDEAL BABY ESSENTIAL THIS HALLOWEEN
Whether your little horror has sticky fingers from too many sweets, or that fake blood just won’t budge, WaterWipes – the world’s purest baby wipes – are the ideal baby essential this Halloween.
With UK residents spending a whopping £460 million on Halloween essentials in 2015, WaterWipes are the perfect addition to your Halloween shopping list as these new baby wipes contain just two ingredients – 99.9% purified water and a drop of fruit extract.
From lollipops and chocolates, to frightening face paints, your little terror’s sensitive skin may be in for a fright! However, this shouldn’t deter parents from allowing their children to get stuck in to all the messy delights this Halloween – even if you are on face painting duty for the night!
Tips for removing stubborn face paint:
- Avoid fragranced wipes as these may irritate your child’s skin. WaterWipes are the perfect go to this Halloween as they are 99.9% purified water with a drop of fruit extract.
- Generic wet wipes may contain oil extracts which act as a perfect seal to skin pores. Using WaterWipes will ensure that your child’s pores do not become clogged.
- Do not harshly scrub the paint off – this will only push the paint deeper into the pores which will cause further irritation to your child’s sensitive skin.
- Gently wiping in a circular motion will be the most effective way to remove stubborn face paint. As children’s skin is much thinner than adults, Midwife, Margaret Merrigan Feenan recommends you use cotton wool and water OR WaterWipes.
I used the WaterWipes to remove Jake and Graces Halloween make up, and it really did remove great without leaving any marks on their face where as previous years, they have been left with slight red marks on their face.
About Water Wipes
Water Wipes contain just two ingredients: 99.9% purified water and a drop of fruit extract, meaning they are as gentle on your baby’s skin as cotton wool and water, but far more convenient to carry around.
They’re as gentle on your baby’s skin as cotton wool and water, making them ideal as a convenient cleansing alternative.
Sensitive about skin
A baby’s skin is 30% thinner and much more sensitive than an adult’s. WaterWipes were developed with this in mind and are the world’s purest baby wipes. They are free from any tough chemical irritants that can be found in other wipes – such as alcohol, fragrance and lanolin.
Unique technology
Formulated using unique technology, WaterWipes are able to clean effectively without the need for soap or chemicals. Perfect for keeping your baby’s body refreshed and their skin calmed.
Allergy approved
WaterWipes are the only wipes to be endorsed by Allergy UK. Instead of aggravating sensitive areas, the wipes may help to prevent nappy rash or other sensitive skin conditions.
Gentle but strong
The wipes are thick, wet and absorbent, leaving no oily residue on baby’s bottom or skin. The abundant water in each wipe leaves areas calm, cool and (most importantly) clean.
My Thoughts
I had previously heard about WaterWipes from a local childminder and also friends and they said about how good they were, so I was interested to see what they were like, as I have used various brands over the years with Jake now being 7, I have used baby wipes since he was a newborn baby so I have tried and tested most of the ones on the market over the years.
I personally have come to really like WaterWipes, they also have a very light fragrant smell about them too. An extra bonus is that they are chemical free, so you know what you are using on your baby will not be harmful.
WaterWipes would also make great gifts for new mums, as I know when I was a new mum I was worried that I might have been using the wrong brand and that products might be full of chemicals that would be harmful for my baby. WaterWipes would be a safe option to use especially when you don’t know if you baby will have sensitive skin, so I would definitely recommend WaterWipes to be a a new addition to have in the nappy box!
Where Can I Get WaterWipes
WaterWipes are available in packs of 60 wipes, or smaller packs of 10 which is a handy size to have in your handbag.
WaterWipes are priced at £2.70 and are available from Boots, Amazon.co.uk, Ocado.co.uk and major supermarkets.

Have started using these for journeys – no mess no fuss – no skin irritation either
Very interesting; they’re not a brand I’ve tried before, but they sound really good. Thanks for the review.
I’ve heard of them before but not know anything about them. They sound really good! Thanks for this. 🙂
Thank you for this article.
These wipes sounds good! love how its made out of water and it doesn’t contain any nasty chemicals.
Lovely post
They sound really good but I use the Huggies water ones which also have 99% water and are a fraction of the price xx
I’m worried that they’re not degradable. Very bad for the environment if they’re not.
We’ve used these before and found them fab – it’s the price that put us off
These sound really good – I’ve seen them in the shops but never tried them!
