How to create your Photostory Deluxe memories

The software is very easy to use I simply popped the disk into my PC and installed it, this didn’t take long.
1. Import photos & videos. Just choose the photos and videos you want to use. The Photostory wizard imports files from cameras and hard drives directly into your slideshow. I chose the pictures that I already had saved on my computer.

2. Add effects & music. There are hundreds of effects to choose from. You can use screen-ready animations, adjust colours, match a scene’s appearance, or select the perfect background music from hundreds of songs & sounds.

3. Share slideshows. Share your finished slideshows on TV, on the computer, projected on a screen, on the go on mobile devices or worldwide on the Internet sharing to your social media sites.

Using a template, it doesn’t take much time to make a video if your wanting to make a quick one, just select your pictures, then song, text, and press save and it takes about 2 minutes for it to save to the PC. You can also go more in depth creating your video manually, being able to go through each slide manually

Our Thoughts

I still only have basic understandings of the programme, but its one of them things, that I will learn more as I go on. There is a selection of videos on different topics that you can watch which will show you the demonstrations teaching you what to do, which are great to keep referring back to for help.

I love that I have been able to choose a selection of my favourite photos that I like, to then be able to use them to make the slideshow. You have the options of selecting the pictures, adding special effects to the slideshow, and even adding the background music which I am just trying to learn. You can also add text over your videos by selecting your slide you would like for the text to appear on, and pressing the Text button and writing what you would like to appear.

There is so much you can do with this programme, once you have finalised your slideshow you have made you can then choose how you would like to export your video.
You can export to the internet directly to programmes such as Facebook or YouTube, export to a mobile device, or you choose to save it on your computer, which furthermore you will be able to burn this to a disk, which is fantastic if you are wanting to share your videos.

So here is a short video that I made, of our trip out to Beamish Museum in the summer for the Great North Steam Fair.

110 Thoughts to “GIVEAWAY Tell Your Photostory with MAGIX”

  1. Miss Cora Harrison

    My dad’s 50th birthday celebration!

  2. Rachael Sexey

I would have loved to have captured my eldest daughter’s first steps and other great moments but there wasn’t technology like there is now ?

  3. Adrian Bold

My sisters 40th birthday. Thanks for the competition.

  4. compingblog

I wish I took more videos of all three of my girls when they were younger. One moment that sticks in my mind is last years nativity play. My daughter was on stage and decided didn’t want to be up there any more so threw the sensory toy she was holding into baby jesus’ crib and ran off stage to come sit with my partner and I to watch the rest of the show. I caught some of it on my phone however I would have loved to have caught the whole thing. Being mum to a little one with additional needs can be trying but moments like this where we cringed at the time can later turn into hillarious moments to look back on.

  5. liz ferguson

I didn’t want to overwhelm some relatives visiting from Australia – I had ever met my cousins, uncle and aunt before – I would have loved a photo of us at the airport during that first tearful, warm exchange xx

  6. Sandra Fortune

My daughter got married yesterday on the 2nd December !

  7. Kirsteen Mackay

I wish I’d caught a family picnic to the beach on camera.

  8. Julie Edwards

I would have loved to have videoed the first glimpse of Niagara Falls. Just breathtakingly stunning.

  9. Eva Trelfa

My daughters as they stepped into Disneyland!

  10. Sarah Austin

    My mum’s 60th birthday party!
