Sunday Snap 10th February 2019

This week I was invited into school to work together with Jake to create a volcano.

This was the most messiest crafting activity I have ever done at the school, we used Plaster of Paris which was like a bandage form called Mod Roc.

Using a bottle and cardboard and filled with newspaper to form the shape, we then used the Mod Roc soaked in water and layered around to make a smooth model.

Jake's Volcano

The rest is up to Jake, he took the model back to his class awaiting to dry, and I believe they are going to paint and do a science experiment!

Good luck Jake, I think you might need it!

SUNDAY SNAPS ARE JUST THAT, SNAPS, THEY WILL NEVER BE HIGH QUALITY FRAMED SHOTS, THEY ARE JUST CAPTURING A MOMENT OF TIME OR SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN MOMENTOUS OR JUST FUN DURING THE PREVIOUS WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A FAMILY CLAN MEMBER.

Looks like Jake had great fun making the volcano. Hopefully we get to see it painted

This looks fab. We’ve done this experiment at home a couple of times

Well done – that is a FAB volcano – can’t wait to see what happens next

What a great idea to make a volcano then conduct an experiment with it.
