STAX Hybrid
STAX brings light and sound into the world of toy bricks. The all new STAX Hybrid range combines Light STAX, Sound STAX and regular bricks in imaginative playsets.
When we were sent these to review Jake and Grace got really excited.
Jake definitely has a creative eye when it comes to building, such as Lego and Mega Bloks. He can make anything from nothing and turn it into something great once he gets in the right mindset.
STAX Hybrid are new and they are absolutely amazing. They come in a variety of shapes and they also match standard Lego pieces so you can make and build as you please.
These STAX Hybrid are available from engines to animals with a good variety.
Each STAX set comes with full step by step instructions, allowing your child to do this by themselves and really get a feeling of accomplishment once complete.
STAX Tuned Racer
We first started with the STAX Tuned Racer, the contents of the box are instruction manual, assembly manual and all the STAX bricks that you need to build your Tuned Racer.
Following the very detailed instructions. We worked on this together as Jake was a bit unsure on how to start, each page of the assembly guide is step by step.
Very simple to follow, I think he just wanted me to help him.
Our car starting to take shape! We added the doors, and wheels, lights and front plates and it was looking amazing!
Now the motion activated power STAX will make noises and light up all the other connected Light Stax!
Pretty amazing, Jake loves his Hybrid Tuned Racer that we made together and loves hearing it make zooming noises when he plays.
STAX Hybrid Cat
Grace was also super excited about her Hybrid Cat, she loves cats so was super excited to get started on this after we made Jake’s.
Within the box, we had the instruction manual, assembly manual and all the STAX pieces we need.
Once again, the assembly instructions read very clear and was easy for us to follow to build.
We started building the bottom half of the cat, this process was great watching how it all came together, page by page completing each process.
We then started the progress of making the Hybrid Cat’s head.
Once again adding the pieces together, creating the ears, pushing the pieces together and then seeing the whole cat come together really was great.
The paws can move up and down and even the tail, and these eyes light up with the Hybrid Lights, and adding in the the Sound STAX piece makes our cat meow and light up whilst in motion.
Jake and Grace have really enjoyed their special time together with me whilst we have made their Hybrid STAX creations.

Our Thoughts
Hybrid STAX are super fun for all the family to do. They would be perfect wrapped up under the tree this Christmas. Lovely Christmas activities to do on the big day whilst you’re busy cooking.
