Sparkling D.I.Y Crystal Card Kit
Crystal Art is only something I have recently discovered. So when I was sent this D.I.Y Crystal Card Kit, from Craft Buddy, I thought I would give one a go too and now I can understand why they are addictive. So relaxing and perfect for a bit of me time!

Crystal pick up pen,
Jelly wax,

The DIY Crystal Card Kits are best suited for age 8 and over, but are suited perfectly for adults to do too.
It is pretty easy to create your D.I.Y Crystal Card Kit.
Each of the bags of crystals you receive have a different letter on which corresponds to a the small spaces on the card. You need to place each crystal on the card to create your design.
Open the bag and tip into the tray. It seems tricky as they are small, but this is where we have the Crystal pick up pen to help up us design the card.
To use the pick up pen, we just need to insert the tip of the pen into the jelly wax, use the pen and tap onto the top of the crystal this holds the crystal into place whilst you position onto the corresponding letter on your card.
The card is protected with a clear sheet, you lift this up or remove as you create your card, then you are able to place you crystals onto the design. The design is sticky, so as you place your crystal down it will stay in position.
The crystals are secured to stay, believe me I accidentally tipped a few crystals on by accident the last time I made one of these cards and I struggled to get them off, which to be honest is great as I wouldn’t like the beads to fall off the card once on display.
Following the letters throughout you can see my pattern start to take place, when you have finished applying crystals with one letter, you can go to your next. There is still plenty of beads left over simply tip these into the supplied clear resealable bag. Repeat this process throughout the whole of your card.
If you need to take a break just make sure your cover with your clear sheet.
Our Thoughts
I absolutely love how this D.I.Y Crystal Card Kit has turned out, I can’t stop sparkling this in the light. The photo’s just don’t do it any justice.
The stars and crystals all keep sparkling and Grace’s face lit up when she saw it.
There is only so much a photograph can capture, it is even more sparkly in person.

I made one before from the same company. It was a Unicorn that Grace loves and has on her wall. I really fancy doing a larger kit, but I’d probably have a couple of helpers!

I absolutely love this idea and didn’t know it was a thing. I have diamond paintings in the past but have never seen these card versions. I really want to give this a try and will certainly be doing this for friends and family this year.
