We have been asked to review Schleich Mobile Vet Van, which is part of the Horse Club range. This fantastic sized mobile vet center is filled with everything you need to take care of poorly foals on the road! The box arrived very well and contents secured fully. The care really has been given to make sure your Schleich products all arrive safely.

Setting the Mobile Vet Van Up

First I needed to set up the Schleich Mobile Vet Van following the instructions which are very clearly displayed and easy to follow.

I attached the roof hood which just clicked it fit into place This allows us to lift it up and down to allow us access to the vet van from the roof.

Next I needed to add the wheels. I am really impressed by the quality of the wheels. They are just like real tires showing the details on the wheel tread. They are also a rubber material and not plastic giving you a smooth ride with your vet van. Simply pop each wheel onto the vet van and they ‘click’ into place.

I added the design stickers onto the van, registration plates and lights stickers placing them all into the correct place by referring back to the diagram clearly displayed on the instructions. I placed the stickers on the table, laptop, xray screen and medicine bottle. Our vet van was starting to look the part!

My Thoughts

I am really impressed with the attention to detail that this Schleich Mobile Vet Van has and everything seems to have its own place. As you can see here, the medical kit, and xray machine have their own little space on the floor to place them in and as the floor is dipped for the position this should then allow then to not tumble in transit. On the back wall of the van you can store your stethoscope, medicine bottle and syringe which each have their own place to be kept when not in use.

Grace loves the super trendy design of the Schleich Mobile Vet Van and how it seems to look like it has a smiley face at the front of the van.

The doors are easily accessible allowing you to place your vet in the driving seat and also remove her to tend to animals, the detail once again I can’t fault as you can see in the front of the van where the vet would sit has the detailing of a real van which is great for imaginative play.

The Schleich Mobile Vet Van is recommended age 4+ years, Grace is 3 and she absolutely adores this set and caring for the animals. I would say it could be suited younger, but I would advise to remove the smaller pieces such as medicine bottle and syringe in case they happen to be eaten as they are quite small.

Each individual small Schleich figure has been hand painted, which just shows to me that they do put care and attention to each product that they make. It is nice knowing that you’re buying a very decent product and care has been given. The quality I cannot fault, and would highly recommend this set. It is RRP £29.99 and good value for money I would personally say and would make an excellent gift which will last for years to come.

Firm Favourite

This Schleich Mobile Vet Van has became a favorite in the household at the moment and is constantly being played with by Jake and Grace, they love tending to their animals and have even added their own zoo animals for imaginative play. Here you can see them giving their poorly foal an x-ray.
