“Say Hello” with the Patchwork Activity Mat

“Say Hello” with the Patchwork Activity Mat

I was super excited that Baby Sensory sent some more of their fantastic toys to review, this time they have sent me this beautiful “Say Hello” Patchwork Activity Mat which Jensen is enjoying exploring the different parts of the mat.

This soft, quilted Baby Sensory Play Mat is a great place where you can lay your new-born baby to play freely, it gives them a safe place to stretch out and kick about. Jensen is now six months old and is growing with him well, the Patchwork Activity Mat offers a 3D effect due to raised patterned border and can grow with your child and when they are a little older they will be able to explore the different features, colourful prints and fascinating patterns on this mat.

The 2cm thick mat is the perfect thickness to be used on carpeted or laminated flooring like ours, I have found the mat is very comfortable to lie on and you can not feel like floor underneath. It is a good quality mat and ideal for encourage tummy time to help your child to stretch and grab the toys, and stimulate crawling.

Your child will love discovering the fun activities including a baby safe mirror, a soothing star teether, tactile “Say Hello” with the Patchwork Activity Mat Review Family Clanribbons and a peek-a-boo flap. Designed in bright colours with friendly characters, the large play mat is a generous size for your child and their friend to play, they will have hours of fun!

I feel safe enough using this mat to help Jensen practice sitting up himself as the thick mat will prevent him from hurting himself if he was to fall back, and I can leave to him to play freely knowing he can roll around safely.

Another thing that makes this ‘Say Hello’ Patchwork Activity Mat ideal for babies and younger children is that we don’t need to worry about it getting messy as this mat can be easily wiped clean too, which lets face it, is a great added bonus as babies are never clean for to long.

Our Thoughts

I love everything about this mat, it is very colourful and has lots of encouraging senses and textures for my child to explore. With me having laminated flooring and a rug, I have found the Patchwork Activity Mat perfect to let Jensen play safely and comfortably on the floor. Although Jensen may not understand what he is doing, he likes to be near the sun mirror and rock backwards and forwards with me saying “boo” every time.

Jensen and I would definitely recommend the Patchwork Activity Mat, I am super pleased with the overall quality of the Baby Sensory mat and I can’t wait to watch Jensen be move involved and get more out of this mat once he begins to start exploring for himself.
