Today is the start of the Sainsbury’s super toy sale, they hold about this time every year! Every year I go. Yes, its always manic, but there are bargains to be had and it’s a great start to get the bulk of your Christmas shopping done for your children or even nieces/nephews and other family members.
What Toys Did I Buy?
On Jake’s Christmas list are Thomas the Tank Engine Mini’s so luckily I got a Thomas Mini track set for £10 from £20
Packs of Thomas Mini’s are £1.50 each was £2.75, so I gathered a small collection for him, which will go down well.
Also for Grace, she has asked Santa for new Peppa Pig toys, so I got 2 packs of Peppa Pig figures which come with accessories was £4 I got them for £2.66 each. These will go nice with the Peppa Pig family home we reviewed
Also this cute Thomas and Friends Felt set for £4.50 was £9 for my friends little boy! Bargain prices to be had, they had something to suit all children!
I avoided the Disney Princess isle as I was shopping with Grace this morning, so I will be going back this afternoon for my 2nd trip to see what Disney Princes items there are as Grace thinks she is real life Disney Princess after being blown a kiss from Aurora (Sleeping Beauty in Disneyland Paris earlier this year! I took “Princess” Grace to nursery after her lunch and nipped back to see what I could get her, but sadly most of the stock had gone, they were re stocking shelves but I had to leave. I managed to pick her up a couple of Glimmies, she loves these from when we reviewed them a few months ago, so I know these are perfect for her. Sad I didn’t managed to get any Disney for her but I’m sure I’ll get her some before the BIG day.
