These story cubes are perfect for bedtime stories, encouraging creativity, enhances language development and promotes problem solving skills for ages six and above while creating connections and unique moments between people young and old alike.

Rory’s Story Cubes comes with nine cubes & instructions all fitting back into their own small compact box at the end of play.

How to play Rory’s Story Cubes

When playing with family and friends take turns as the storyteller. The storyteller rolls all 9 cubes. Begin with ‘Once Upon a Time’ and tell a story that links together all 9 face-up images. Start with the first image to grab your attention. Use three cubes for the beginning, three from the middle and three for the end of the story. There is only one rule: there are no wrong answers.

Jake rolled the cubes and separated them in to three. For the beginning, middle & end of the story.

So here is Jake’s Story Cube.

“Once upon a time
There was a man called Luigi, but he was a very sad man because he needed a walking stick.
But then Luigi had a brilliant idea, he decided to explore using his magic wand.
Along his travels he met a tortoise and they went around the world together, and sent a letter to home to say he was now a happy man”

These story cube stories are brilliant, simply made, but you can see their imaginations really do think. Grace loved making her stories too and once she seen her big brother do it, she did a cracking job too!

Let the fun continue

Let the fun never end, you can create a different type of game using these cubes too!

My Hero – By rolling three cubes and use them to create a character name. Now roll all nine cubes and tell a story featuring your hero. What will happen when your hero find them self at the pyramids in Ancient Egypt, or with a turtle for a sidekick?!

Epic Stories – The first player rolls all nine cubes and weaves the opening chapter. Taking turns, each consecutive player adds a chapter to the story. The last player must tie up all the loose ends and bring the story to its epic conclusion.

Such a small compact game this game, Rory’s Story Cubes are perfect for telling stories wherever you go. You could take them travelling, to school, camping or even to the restaurant and tell a story whilst you wait.
If you are stuck for ideas, pick your favourite movie, book or TV show. What new and imaginative stories can you spin using these characters and settings. Rory's Story Cubes - Story Telling Fun
