Put a good splash of Extra Virgin Olive oil in a frying pan, on low.

Slice your garlic finely I have used 2 cloves as we like garlic but feel free to use less used.

Blend 2 tins of tomatoes, I just use the really cheap ones from Asda.  I use a hand blender to blitz them up.

Be careful not to burn the garlic so keep an eye out, once garlic is sizzling nicely, add your 2 tins of tomatoes in.  Bring to bubbling stage, then add 2 leafs on basil in or to your acquired taste. Add half a tin of water & allow to bubble again for 5 mins more.  Turn down the heat stirring occasionally & it will reduce down to a nice thick texture.

You can see how much the sauce has reduced down. Cook your pasta and add sauce . will make about 4 portions Add your parmesan cheese on top, really does finish the meal off properly .
