Nextbase 312GW Dash Cam Review & Giveaway
Have you ever considered buying a dash cam.
I have, after watching several videos on YouTube involving car accidents and people jumping onto car bonnets and claiming that they had been run over.
I purchased two dash cams “yes two” one for the front and one for the rear window (can’t be to careful)
I also recently found out about one such thing had happened to a elderly neighbour. A few years ago a car reversed into his car and then a number youths jumped into that car in front and a claim was made on his insurance (he now has a dash cam fitted), but it’s cost him a lot in insurance. Nasty pieces of work doing that o anyone never mind an old chap!
On that note we have been sent a nextbase dash camera for review and I have to say the first impressions of the Nextbase 312GW dash camera out of the box that it feels a quality product and is heavier than my current dash cam which is a GS800L and is approximately 69 grams as apposed to the Nextbase which weighs in at 90 grams.
About the 312GW
The Nextbase Dash Cam 312GW gives very high quality footage when recording in Full 1080p HD at 30fps (frames per second) The 312GW uses the latest 6G glass in their lenses which provides quality images and the wide 140 degree viewing angle is capable of capturing both sides of the road whilst maintaining image clarity. It’s the first Nextbase model to have built in WiFi, meaning you can quickly transfer footage to review on your smartphone or tablet and then simply share the footage online with the Nextbase app.
The Nextbase 312GW is also one of the first Dash Cams to come with the Click & Go Powered Magnetic Car Mounting system that makes it easy to remove, you just simply slide your Dash Cam onto the mount with the aid of inbuilt magnets and off you go!
The power to the Dash Cam runs through the mount so there is no need to worry about wires and the camera will automatically turn on when you start your vehicle and turn off again when you stop your vehicle. This 312GW also includes a GPS and G force recording system, which can also help to provide important evidence in the event of an accident. By tracking your location you can watch your footage back with speed, location and G force data shown alongside the video. This small and handy Dash Cam can easily be tucked away behind your rear view mirror, ensuring your journeys are captured at all times!

As you can see from the specification the maximum micro SD card that can be used with the dash cam is 32GB which is good for 3.7 hours of recording time.
