Well the time has come to say goodbye to my little buttercups and the girls I have worked with for over five years. My last day was very upsetting to say goodbye not just to my job, but my wonderful co-workers. I have loved working with them, but I guess my time is up.
Being made redundant from a job I have loved has made me very sad because I have worked so hard throughout the setting and it’s came at the wrong time. I have began to over think things like What if I lose my house? What if I can’t give my children the life they deserve? What if we get in debt?
But sadly with work, their policy is you need to pass your GCSE Maths and English to level 3 standard, I have been working so hard towards theses grades in college, however unfortunately I have failed them twice, even though I tried really hard.
I’m unsure what I’m going to do now, do I be a stay at home mammy or do I try find another job within childcare? Either way, we as a family, are going to struggle with money. Although Daddy S is working, it’s only agency full time work – which he is hating, but with a baby, a holiday and bills coming out we the best we can get. We’re going to have to cut back on a lot and take each day as it comes.
But on the up side like I said in the my older post on wards and upwards. I have just celebrated my 27th birthday on the weekend (which I thoroughly enjoyed) our new bundle of joy coming in May. I heard Baby Nemo’s heartbeat at my recent midwife appointment which was AMAZING! My big lads FIFTH birthday in August (when did this happen) and a holiday in October!
I got some lovely leaving gifts from my work colleagues which did brighten up my final day for me to say the least!
