The Mini Hornit Review
The Mini Hornit is the world’s most fun accessory for children’s bikes and scooter. It is fast becoming a craze in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. It comes loaded with 25 sound effects from bells and trumpets to racing cars and animals, and has bright lights (white AND green!) for safety.
You can change the volume to loud/medium/quiet. The Mini Hornit can also withstand sprayed water, and light rain which is ideal for the changing weather.
Jake and Grace absolutely love the Mini Hornit, it can simply attach onto any scooter or bike. It has a rounded groove underneath so its fits onto Jake’s scooter well. We secured it into position by using the rubber ‘wings’ which wrap around the bar which secures into place. The remote trigger is attached by a cable and you can then add this by securing around the bar in an easier to reach place, and by a simple press, this enables children to operate it without taking their hands off the handbars.
You can select 1 of 25 sounds to use as your horn so of course Jake being ‘train mad’ he chose the sound of the train to use for his horn noise. The Mini Hornit requires 2x AAA batteries which come included.
Award Winning
Mini Hornit featured on the BBC (Dragons’ Den), As Seen on TV in the US and in the national and international press. It has also scooped the Rainbow Toy Award for best outdoor toy, the Good Toy Guide award and the Right Start Award.
The Mini Hornit would make such a great Christmas present that your children will love, easy to use and great quality.
The Mini Hornit is available in a variety of different colors, the blue and orange goes perfectly with Jake’s scooter! You can view them on Amazon here

The mandatory question is What would be your ideal horn sound on a scooter/bike and why?
A trolls song would be great – my daughter would love that!
The tune “Shut up and dance with me” by Walk the Moon, love it! Plus you can boogy whilst you scoot.
I would like ice cream van sound – to confuse kids on the street 🙂
It has got to be the police siren 🙂
A buzz (like a bee) would be a funny one. Watching people looking around for a humongous bee ?
