Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser
We have received a Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser to review
This little portable steriliser is great for busy mums on the go, you can never be to careful with little ones and germs so it is always great to have a steriliser away from home which will be perfect for days out especially with the summer coming up.
The sterilisers comes in a ball shape with a green lid, it is a small handy size, so you are able to take it with you on a day to day basis in case needed if dummy is dropped.
The mini steriliser comes in a choice of 3 colours, green, purple or blue.
What I first did was wash all the parts with warm soapy water then rinse out with cold water before I used it on Graces dummy.
I then added cold water to the fill line which is shown on the steriliser.
I added 1 steriliser tablet to the bottom of the steriliser making sure it had dissolved. There are 2 circular sponges which come with the steriliser, you need too add the full circle sponge to the bottom then the 2nd sponge has a central hole, you then need to add that on top of the other press until you see some of the water appear over the top one.
When that is done all I needed to do was get Grace’s dummy and pop it in the steriliser by inserting the teat into the hole on the sponge and give it a little twist to clean the teat.
Then screw the top back on and wait for 15 minutes and then it was ready to use
after the 15 minutes is up, the soother can stay in the steriliser for up to 24 hours remaining sterile.
The steriliser also has a handy little strap which can be looped and connected through the top of the steriliser which then allows you to have it connected anywhere, i,e. on the pram or on changing bag. I have my Mini Portable Steriliser attached to Grace’s changing bag. I make sure that I have it at all times now. She has a few dummy’s so I find it best to keep 1 in the steriliser so if we are out and she does need to have it sterilised then at least there is a fresh one ready instantly in the ball waiting… so that’s 1 less Terrible 2 Year old attitude I need to deal with saying she couldn’t have the dirty one!
It is important to only use Milton Mini Sterilising Tablets as they are designed for the portable steriliser and others may not be suitable as these are smaller created for the small steriliser they are available to buy from Amazon Here
for £4.13 for 50 tablets or you can also pick them up from local supermarkets.
You can easily sterilise on the go, or even just at home and I am quite pleasantly surprised at how easy the process was.
I have never used a portable steriliser before, so I was very wary to how this would work, I have only ever used the electrical ones in the house for baby bottles for both my children, but I have found this pleasantly useful and would use in future and also recommend to others.
The Mini Portable Soother Steriliser is available to buy from Amazon for £6.99 Here
which I believe is a very fair price for something so useful and it would also make a great gift for a baby shower or any Mum to be.
