Milton is celebrating over 70 years of protecting babies from harmful germs. Milton was used in the First World War. Established in 1916 Milton has been used by hospitals and in homes for over 100 years. Milton was named after the poet, John Milton (1608-1674), as Milton was first manufactured in his London home. don’t leave your rubbish stinking in the house, put in your bin outside daily.

Candles are an obvious way to make your home smell sweet, but some clever placement can increase their efficiency. I place a few candles where you would least expect them to be, but don’t light them. The linen cupboard, is a good example, or anywhere fabrics might live and be able to absorb the scent. Not only do you get a nice surprise every time you open the door, but your linens will carry the aroma with them wherever you use them.

White vinegar absorbs bad smells and is great for deodorising fabrics – the slightly chip shop like smell fades as it dries!
