Monty Kazoop is six years old he has a very vivid imagination. Along with his best friend, a pig, Jimmy Jone and the pig goes off on wild imaginary adventures and play.
In each episode Monty Kazoop confronts a preconception about the grown-up world and sets out to challenge it, embarking on a wild imaginary adventure with Jimmy that offers them a fresh perspective.
In each episode Monty and Jimmy use their imaginations to find ways to look differently at the world around them. For after all, who says the world works the way grown ups think it should? Things can always be different if you just imagine.
Rainy Day
One of our favorite episodes is called Rainy Day. It starts with Monty and Jimmy Jones playing with a Frisbee in the garden, they are having a super fun skimmer marathon, whilst Dad waters the plants with a hosepipe. Monty and Jimmy are really good with Frisbee and do some excellent trick shots.
Dad sees cloud on the horizon and goes indoors to check out what will happen with the weather by using the Sorenson 120 weather predictor, that knows what the weather will do before the weather does!
Once it starts raining they all have to go indoors. Monty and Jimmy are not happy about being indoor when they was having so much fun in the garden. Suddenly Monty says “Kazoops Jimmy Jones, surely there is a way to have fun in the rain, just imagine” and off the two of them go into the imaginary world where everything is fun. They jump on umbrellas , ride on clouds, go sailing and splash in puddles and get messy around muddy patches. All the fun things that you can do in the rain.
Once back in reality and in the kitchen, they all decide that if you put on your coat and boots it’s great fun playing in the rain.
