Guylian Belgian Chocolate Sea Horses Review
You all know that I’m a chocoholic right? If not then now you do. I mean if there is any chocolate in the house it shouts “Eat Me!” to me and having the will power of a gnat I do just that!
That’s not to say I don’t have my favourite chocolates, oh I do and Guylian Belgian Chocolates are right up there. I love hazelnut praline chocolates and in my opinion Guylian make the best. What’s even better even though they use 100% pure cocoa butter the chocolates are are not mega expensive. In fact you can get them from under £5 a box.
The use of the 100% cocoa butter is a critical ingredient, it gives the chocolate the desirable creamy taste and superior “melt-in-your-mouth” texture, better known as the Guylian Experience.
I was lucky enough to be send a 336g box of Guylian Sea Horses. It has 32 scrumptious, delicious chocolates inside in the shape of sea horses. I took them over to Daddy T’s for our last games night, I only just managed to photograph them before they disappeared. I guess it’s not just me who finds them irresistible! Next time I’ll have remember to take the photo’s before hand.
How It’s Made
Their irresistible sea horses chocolates are filled with the Guylian signature filling – a rich and luxurious creamy roasted hazelnut praliné, exclusively made in copper kettles in small batches by Guylian’s Master Chocolatier’s in Belgium. They follow the original recipe of the company’s founder’s, Guy and Liliane.
Guy developed the iconic recipe of their signature in-house roasted hazelnut praliné filling; Liliane added the artistic touch by designing the shining marbled exterior and the delicately sculptured shapes, the white and dark chocolate intertwining like the lives of the two lovers, an immortal tale of romance that is retold in every marbled sea horse today.
Making Guylian Belgian Chocolates so unique and delicious takes skill, effort and craftsmanship. Guylian has chocolate lovers all over the world that enjoy the unforgettable sensation, to be savoured slowly.

Enjoy this superior chocolate experience. Slowly savour each mouthful – oh go on then if I must!

They are really nice, I also got a box for myself in Tesco. Great at half price. I doubt if I will have bought it full price.
Love these chocolates
I’d never tried this particular brand of chocolates before but then my friend bought me a box and I was very impressed. I do find them very rich so can only eat 1 or 2 at a time but that just makes them last longer, lol.
