Goody Good Stuff Review

Goody Good Stuff

We have been sent eight bags of Goody Good Stuff to review. Goody Good Stuff are a brand targeting those who need or want sweets made ‘Free From Gluten, Lactose and Gelatine’ with all ‘natural colours & flavours’ which are ‘Naturally Delicious’.
Each packet is well presented with each one having a really cute koala bear as their main character, holding a different fruit on each packet symbolising what is inside.

Cheery Cherries – presented with the Koala on the front of the packet holding the same sweet. Opening the packet the smell of cherries just hit you. They smell really nice and strong, but to be honest they are not as sweet as the smell. It is just right, nice texture and soothing, all rounded cherry taste. It is a really enjoyable sweet.

Sour Fruit Salad – packet of fun! different shaped fruits in their own colour and shapes. i.e. a pear in the shape of a pear, orange in the half shape of an orange. Great to learn the kids on the different fruits in a fun and treat way for them. Each one has a sour taste, we pulled some really fun faces eating these.

Strawberry Cream – small little shapes of Strawberry and Cream. These are really enjoyable and true to what they say the red ones you can taste the strawberry and the white ones you can taste the cream. The smell from the bag is really pleasant as well. I would also say good amount of each in the bag and not over done with one than the other as you could find in some brands. Looks evenly 50/50 strawberry and cream. Grace loved these and chose them to open.

Cola Breeze – these are as you would expect. All in the shape of Cola bottles, clear at the top and brown at the bottom to make it look like a bottle of cola. Full of flavour all the way through and the sugar coating gives them a bit of extra flavour. Jake enjoyed these but I love how he called them ‘dirty beer bottles!’

Koala Gummy Bears – in the shape of little teddy bears which are really detailed. I opened this packet and get a sudden smell of fruit hit you right between the eyes! There is a mixture of different fruits in this packet and each teddy colour resembles which colour you are getting. Each one is a burst of flavour which stays with you all the way through until finished. Grace enjoyed these even more after me pointing out to here that they are teddy bears she then started shouting ‘teddy!’

Tropical Fruit – all different shapes of tropical fruit, which you don’t often see in sweet packets like banana, pineapple, nectarine…  lovely idea, and once again the smell is very fruity. Each fruit looks very detailed for a sweet, which was fun as we made a little game out of this to see if Jake could recognise each fruit.

Summer Peaches – a yummy bag full of peach flavoured sweets in a coat of sugar, the smell is nice and mellow. Tasting really nice with orange and red coloured to give the appearance of a peach.

Sour Mix Match – a bag full of mixed sour flavoured sweets, with colours yellow and green, yellow and orange, yellow and red and orange and red. All sugar covered and different sour flavoured. Once again, all the colours are evenly spread out to give it an equal sharing, so your not stuck having the same taste over and over again.

I like that they are generous sized and not tiny packets, they are great to share. Each pack is 100g and there is a wide selection available from Goody Good Stuff.

The texture of all the sweets are really smooth jelly style and not as chewy as normal sweets which I really thought was best as I’m not keen on sweets that take ages to eat. All the contents in the packets are gluten free, soy free, nut free and lactose free! Available from Waitrose and Ocado from £1.25 – £1.50 a packet

A bit of information about the company:-

Goody Good Stuff is an all-new natural gummy sweet range that is made with a plant derived bio-gum technology, which eliminates the need for animal-based gelatine, which most traditional gummy sweets use.

Over the last 15 years, they have worked to develop a food technology, which allows them to remove the gelatine from gummy sweets while still producing a deliciously smooth and clear consistency. This makes their product range the first and only of its kind in the market. In addition, they have taken out all of the artificial colours and flavours and use only natural fruit and vegetable extracts in their range. Lastly, they have removed all of the other harmful food additives and possible allergens such as gluten, to create a truly all natural alternative, which are: fat free; meat free; dairy free; alcohol free; gluten free; egg free; nut free; soy free and gelatine free.
