Customise with Gel-a-Peel this Month
Did you know it is customisation month?! Well we are right up to our crafting max with Gel-a-Peel!
Gel-a-Peel allows you to customise, design and create your own jewellery and accessories using coloured Gel-a-Peel pens.
The sets each include:-
8+ Design Templates
1 pink colour change / 1 plum Gel Tube
2 Gel Trays
1 designer Tips & Accessory hardware
1 clear drawing sheet
How to use Gel-a-Peel?
Grace took the template that came within the set, and chose to make the plum coloured spirally bracelet. We then place the clear drawing sheet over the top of the template.
Screw the designer tip onto your Gel-a-Peel tube allowing you to get ready to design!
Press the tube tip against the clear drawing sheet and squeeze as you slowly follow the pattern, Grace loved doing this to create her bracelet.
When you have finished using your colour, remove the tip. Make sure you replace the protective plug back on, this prevents your Gel-a-Peel drying out! For your Gel-a-Peel design to work you must make sure all the gel lines, spikes, different colors and other designs are touching.
On your template it will tell you how long your design will take to dry. After waiting the time stated, use the included cleaning tool to peel it from the clear drawing sheet and you have your stunning bracelet ready to wear.
If you happen to break a piece you have made, to repair it all you need to do is reapply gel over the broken section and wait for it to dry!
Graces’ custom makes!
Gel-a-Peel can be used to decorate and customise pretty much anything such as bags & accessories, great for children to create and make with so much left in the tube after finishing!
So we have put these to the tests and designed our very own tumbler and tote bag, Grace has been super busy!
She wanted to make a flower water bottle but also make sure no one had the same so put her name on too! So firstly she used the pink Gel-a-Peel pen to write her name, then used it also to create the flower stems.
Using the two colours from each set, she made a lovely pattern on her bottle with flowers and swirly lollipops!
Grace had so much for creating her own customised bottle and likes to take it to nursery with her too!
What’s more, you can also customise your very own tote bag, or in Grace’s words ‘My own shopping bag!’
She really liking flowers recently, so no surprise to me she wanted a flower on her tote bag. I drew a faint template line for her to follow and she did pretty well as it is much larger than the usual Gel-a-Peel template she is used to!
After she created her customised flower, she wanted ‘hearts and kisses’ on her bag too. So much hard work and so much customisation!
We have had great fun making these as always, such great family time and something to fill a weekend or rainy afternoon.
We love Gel-a-Peel and have previous reviewed other sets Fuzzy & Jelly Kits, Glow in the Dark Kit, Pearly Pastel Kit, Colour Change Kit, 2-Tone Kit, Deluxe Kit. Fashion Station take a look, you can buy the Gel-a-Peel Pearly Plum here.
