Comic Art Betty Boop Picture Review

Betty Boop for Mother’s Day?

I received my Betty Boop screen print today, quick delivery and packaged to arrive safely from the lovely people at Comic Art. She is handmade, limited edition screen print on cotton paper, mould-made at the St Cuthbert Mill in Wells, Somerset, measuring 25cm x 19cm.

Well what can I say?! Wow, I love it! As an avid Betty Boop fan I love how she is cute & sexy, this would be fantastic as a Mother’s Day present as it is quite special and very different. I can’t wait to show everyone.

She is signed and numbered 21/200 in pencil by the printer, John Patrick Reynolds.

The quality of the embossed paper and clear bright print makes it outstanding. The personalised hand written compliment slip is also a very nice touch.

Thank you very much to Comic Art, I love my new art work!

There are hundreds of pieces of art to choose from at thecomicartwebsite.com, where you can purchase iconic and original pieces from the archives of Britain’s foremost comic publisher DC Thomson, in addition to prints from Popeye, Asterix and Betty Boop.  Choose from cheeky Dennis the Menace, Popeye and Olive Oyl, Desperate Dan, Minnie the Minx, Beril the Peril, Lord Snooty and the Bash Street Kids, plus many many more. They would make a perfect gift, great idea for Mothers Day, (6th March) Birthdays, they would also make a great & unusual wedding gift. These are perfect presents for any occasion, especially for those that are hard to buy for!!

Here’s a few more of my favourites from their website for you to look at.

Prices start from just £40 and the pieces carried by Comic Art are all unique and the business holds the only license to reproduce the iconic and nostalgic faces. I see so many memories tied up in the pictures. I think I’m sorted for a couple of up coming birthday presents.

I really enjoyed looking through the site, but for me it was always going to be Betty Boop. Who or what is your favourite piece & who will you buy one for?
