Tonight, Myself, Daddy S and our two boys went to our local Christmas lights switch on that was hosted by a local radio station Sun FM.
Its a family event that we do every year, its great for the community too.
Family and friends get together to go on the rides, listen to local singers and countdown for the biggest event of the night. The Christmas lights switching on followed by fireworks!
Lots of local acts sang or danced for the entertainment, tonight we had the pleasure of listening to a Drummer Troop. They were aged between 18 and 82. How amazing, 82 years young!
He especially thought that Sunny was funny when he began to dance to the music and ”shake his feathers.”
We even got a picture with Sunny The Seagull which Logan loved, it was awesome (according to Logan).
The fireworks are the Christmas light turn on were something else, they were the best I’ve seen for a very long time.
Have you been anywhere special for the festive season yet?
Mummy E
It looks like Logan really enjoyed himself we Sunny. The smile on his face is beautiful
We went to Blackburn light switch on – the boys always get so excited too
What a lovely event. The children will treasure the memories of attending well into adulthood.
I love Christmas, i have never been to the lights switch on where we live, dont think i could cope with the crowds. We are planning a trip to see Santa
