We really couldn’t wait to get started with reviewing these. Grace is now 6, and they are so perfectly suited for her with a bit of help from me we have had some fantastic fun.

So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Factory

She chose to first test out the So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Factory, she loves bath bombs so was really excited to make her own.

With the So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Factory you can create a luxurious bath in your own special way! The fun-filled factory comes with everything you need to create 6 fizzy bath bombs, including 4 surprise figures to hide inside.

With the So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Factory we can mix and mould our own fizzy creations for bath time magic and Grace really couldn’t wait to get started as she absolutely loves bath bombs.

We mixed the brightly coloured powder with the glittery powder in the mixing station, and then added the decorative sprinkles to the bottom of the mould.

Now we poured the powder mix into the mould and press down to make a bath bomb unique to you. You can even hide one of the cute characters inside for a playful surprise at bath time.

So Bomb’s special bath bomb formula is quicker and easy. Every ingredient is already measured out, so you can enjoy fizzy fun with the perfect ratio within 10 minutes.

Grace was absolutely thrilled to bits at how her bath bombs turned out, and even commented on how easy it was to put together. When she turned it around and saw the sparkles that she had added she was so delighted and instantly asked for a bath.

Our Thoughts

We are so happy with the So Bomb DIY Bath Bomb Facotry and have had super fun creating a variety of coloured bath bombs, and also mixing the colours to give a streak effect. The bath bombs fizz great in the bath and actually last quite a while with a continuous fizz.

So DIY Magic – Magic Terrarium

With this So Magic DIY Tree you can make your own terrarium and watch your tree grow and bloom!

1 bag of growing powder,
2 bags of coloured sand,

Instructions

Decorate with coloured sand and stones and add two collectable characters the So Magic Tropical Terrarium Kit is a great way to introduce children to crystal growing and a great introduction to the scientific principals behind how crystals grow in a fun and magical way.

All we needed to do to grow our crystal tree is sprinkle the growing powder on the branches, add water and waited as our tree grew overnight.

Grace loved to decorate her terrarium with the coloured stones and sand making sure that it was just right, then just add the figurines and replaced protective lid.

We waited over night, and by the next morning we had results!

The results worked really well, but of course I never had my camera to hand before Grace decided to explore and touch the crystals allowing a few to fall from the tree.

Our Thoughts

We have also really enjoyed this set, I think its great to get kids involved in science in a fun way. This is an amazing way to grow crystals and keep as it is secured in its own dome which can then then be displayed where you like and Grace really loves the SO DIY Magic Tree.

So Slime DIY Colour Change Slime Shakers

If your children love slime then the So Slime DIY Color Change Slime Shakers are the perfect gift for them. This set is also colour changing!

Grace, I have to say is very slime mad and just loves the mess about it. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but luckily she can play on the table and we have tile floors so nothing that can’t be cleaned.

The pack comes with 3 slimes ready to be opened and mixed.

Each shaker you open has a collectable figure, slime powder and glitter.

The slime is so easy to make, just mix the So Slime powder, glitter/confetti into the mixer, then just add required amount of water and shake, await about 10 minutes and your slime is done, it’s that easy!

The slime does not include any glues or resins of any kind to keep children far away from harmful substances, instead it is 100% water based.

Play with your slime and watch it change colour in the palms of your hands! You can even add a cute collectable character to make the magic even more fun!

Our Thoughts

I highly recommend all three of these Canal Toys products. There has been a great aspect of learning and fun within the sets. Grace gives them a big thumbs up from her they really would be a perfect this Christmas.
