BRIO World – Central Train Station
All aboard! The central train station features double tracks and a wide range of sounds from the ticket machine. It’s the perfect centerpiece for your rail network. This is where your passengers start their adventures and only you know where they will end up.
First we opened the Central Train Station, this station comes with one figure, who can stand at the ticket station and by standing on the floor and pressing the button she stands on this will then feature the sounds from the ticket station.
The clock situated upon the train station also has fully moving hands too, this set helps to develop hand-eye coordination.
I really love this piece of BRIO, it is very high quality and realistic. As you can imagine we have been to many train stations with Jake and Grace so they can see the trains, and also when we visit family we also use the train.
The attention to detail is fabulous on this piece, and it also had station platform numbers to make it more realistic. I often hear “The Train leaving platform Two is going to Nanna and Grandads”
The Central Station is quite a generous size so your trains have plenty of space for coming and going and it also has the station platform on either side promoting to stay behind the white line which we see at our local Metro Stations and Central Station which is great as whilst children play in their own BRIO World. They are learning key lessons in life too.
BRIO World – Bus and Train Station
We also received the Bus and Train Station for us to review.
Once again, Jake and Grace were very eager to get this open to take a closer look to see what was inside.
Are you going on holiday? Maybe a visit to Nanna and Grandad? This is where you change from the bus to the train and back again. Things can be busy at the station so make sure you have your luggage with you.
This Bus and Train Station comes with one figure who is dressed and ready to go on holiday, with his suitcase! Also included is a wooden bus that brings you to and from the train station.
The parking spaces just connect onto the train station by placing over and fitting into place and you are set to play. Again the station platforms are clearly numbered and this also has a displayed ticket stand in between the two platforms, so you can jump off the bus, buy your ticket and jump onto the train!
Which is very realistic to us, as when we go to a train station we get the bus too!
These two BRIO sets are brilliant, but whats more, these two sets also connect together to make an even bigger Train Station and making play endless!
Simply add your own BRIO wooden railway track to play, (or any other wooden railway track should also connect)
and make tracks to great endless destinations.
The all new BRIO products are designed with shapes and functions that can easily be used with previous models
These sets are suitable for children 3+ and just as their other products, these are also manufactured to BRIO’s high standards.
Using with other BRIO rail sets will boost your childs’ fun and imaginative playtime. A childs’ mind can explore everything with the right tools to do so.
I love these BRIO World Central Train Station & Bus and Train Station. They are extremely high quality, and very well built and will stand the test of time with Jake and Grace. Just add your tracks, and you are ready to play. Grace keeps taking the train to ‘Disneyland Paris’ and gets her little figures on the bus and drives. Her imagination is excellent, whereas Jake takes his trains to ‘Thomas Land’ and loves adding all of his Thomas Trackmaster battery trains onto the tracks, and making them stationary within the Central Station.
You can see the range of BRIO products on their website here.
