Beer52 Craft Beers for the World Review

Beer52 Craft Beers for the World Review

We have been asked by Beer 52 if we would like to review one of their monthly craft beer cases. Now we wasn’t going to say no to that!

Beer 52 Family Clan Blog

Beer52 are the largest and fastest-growing craft beer community in the world. Founder James Brown started the club after he went on a motorcycle ‘craft beer road trip’ around the UK. He discovered there were more than 12,000 microbreweries in the world, producing all kinds of amazing beers.

After that trip, he put together a team of craft beer experts ,who now handpick eight different beers each month for members to try. Sourcing exclusive, small batch beers from the best tiny and experimental breweries around the world. They also produce a great in-house magazine about the beers they feature called Ferment.

They arrived safe and well presented in box with magazine tucked into the side.

The box contains 8 different alcoholic drinks selected carefully every month. fro, this month was around the Scotland area.

Craft brewing from The Shetland Isles – Indian Pale Ale
Lerwick, Shetland’s capital, is a vibrant mix of the old and new. From its old harbour filled with modern boats, to its historic buildings interspersed with new housing and businesses. Lerwick is a town that moves with the times, but remains proud of its roots.
Our brewery fits in with this ethos, reclaiming an old building and giving it new purpose. We’ve extended this concept to our IPA too, taking a classic style and giving it a modern twist.

Our View
This has a nice brisk taste and enjoyable throughout the bottle.

Our View

This is a fresh lager taste, there is no after taste just a very clear nice refreshing drink and we really enjoyed this and it is not to gassy at all which I find some lagers can be it carries a hint of honey sweetness which balances with the dry, crisp refreshing palate.

Ruthless India pale ale.

Our View
This lager smells fruity and has a very dry taste. We weren’t to keen on the after taste, as it was like grapefruit which we don’t favour. It is very bitter drink that really gets your taste buds tingling. Also be very careful as it’s 7.2% probably one for the weekend!

The magazine is called Ferment which has 98 pages.  I like that it introduces you to the crew with their drawn images of themselves and telling us as the readers what part they contribute in the magazine. I liked this idea as its nice to see a face from behind the words. It is full of information about the beers & the breweries.
Priced at £4.99 it is full of information.
