Crochet and Knitting Companion Set
Look what I got as surprise package in the post from Jake and Grace this week and I love it. It’s full of useful things for Crochet and Knitting. This Companion Set would be useful for a number of crafts really not just the ones listed.
It contains lots of useful bit and with the lovely case that has a magnetic clasp to keep closed they will be all safely together. It’s perfect for most crafters.
It’s a great kit for the crocheter or knitter that travels as everything can be kept in the pouch together, so no loose little bits all over – well if you are like me!
What’s Inside
The set contains
- 11 Crochet hooks
- 2 aluminium stitch holders
- retractable tape measure
- 2 stitch or row counters
- 2 knitting needle point covers
- seam ripper
- 10 split ring stitch markers
- 10 locking stitch markers
- a pair of snips
- a set of coloured beaded pins
- knitting gauge with hook size holes
- 3 different sizes of cable needles
- 2 different sizes of tapestry or darning needles
The crochet hook have a lovely grip on them that I think is silicon rubber, so you can grip them loosely and they will still do the stitches, this should help anyone who has a tight tension.
The hook sizes are 2mm/ 2.5mm/ 3mm/ 3.5mm/ 4mm/ 4.5mm/ 5mm/ 5.5mm/ 6.0mm/ 7.0mm/ 8.0mm The sizes are clearly marked on the end of the handle grip.
I love this set and can see me using it such a lot. I wonder what I should make next? Actually I know, I’m going to make Jake and Arron, Thomas the Tank Engine Hats.
