  2. We love going to Glasgow. Such a vibrant city and some of our closest friends are just a quick journey away.

  3. Norfolk. My wife tells me constantly of how wonderful it is there and how much she wants to return. Would be fab to be able to take her <3 🙂

  4. I’d love to get away to somewhere coastal – just to feel the sea air and relax for a bit!

  5. I’d like to go to Barmouth in North Wales. I grew up round there and would love to go back and see how if it’s as I remember. There are some great sandy beaches there too, I love a paddle in the sea!

  6. The lake district, its only a couple of hours away but I’ve not been in years and the scenery is spectacular

  7. I would like to go to Leicester to see the final resting place of Richard 111. I really enjoy history and was fascinated by the finding of the skeleton of Richard the 111, the scientific work that proved it was really him and the pomp and circumstance of his final journey.He is such an interesting character and I would love to visit the Cathedral were he is laid to rest and learn some more about him from the visitor center.

I love so many places, but have now fallen in love with Cornwall over the past 2 years – this year we have a week booked on the coast of Devon in a cottage – not too far from Cornwall, but I remember holidays in Devon from when I was a child and loved them. So I expect I must say Devon/Cornwall 🙂

  9. My grandson aged 8 has come to live with me after having been born in Spain. More than anything he wants to visit London, see Buckingham Palace and the guards so would love a weekend packed with interesting things for us both to see and do.

  10. I would like to go to Canterbury. As I have been looking at photos and reading the history of it. Looks so good!

  11. I’d love to go to London. My little one’s never been before and I’d take him to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs.

  13. I would go to the Isles of Scilly because its years since I last went, and it is truly beautiful and relaxing.

  14. I love to visit Dorset, especially Weymouth, I love the esplanade, the harbour and to sit by the river, it is such a great place to go

  15. I’d love to visit the Brecon Beacons – it’s supposed to be a beautiful part of the world and I’m a keen walker!

  16. I would love to go to the Isle of Wight as it looks beautiful with loads to do for the kids and I have never been before.

  18. We love the Cotswolds.. Always find lots of places to visit, lovely old pubs for being watered & fed. We do tend to alwayss stay in the same area though so would be nice to try somewhere new.

  19. Harrogate – lovely spa town with lots to do and plenty of shopping plus within easy reach of the Northern Yorkshire Dales

  21. To Scarborough as this is a place O spent many holidays when a child and also some weekends when we were first married, A weekend there would bring back many happy memories.

  22. I’d love to go to the Lake District – it’s such an amazing place with special significance to me and my husband as we got married there, as well as being the final resting place of my wonderful Daddy and Nana. It’s my spiritual home 🙂

  23. The Scottish Highlands as i love the outdoors would love nothing more than traipsing round the countryside; especially if i could bring my dogs and horse. Then if i could find a local pub to eat some good pub food. Pretty much my ideal day.

  28. A family and pet friendly break in a costal cottage. Almost anywhere in the UK that can provide an internet free zone so we can spend quality time together as a family without the distractions of modern life.

  30. I’d love to go to Lyme Regis – I spent a day here when I was younger and loved it, didn’t get to spend enough time there and would love to see it again.

  31. I would like to visit the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland. It has been a dream of mine ever since i was a child to be able to see all of the wildlife native to Scotland.

  33. I would love to go to the Scottish Highlands because it’s such a beautiful area and would be the ideal spot to really get away from it all 🙂
