We haven’t given away a scarf in a while and I know you all love this gorgeous pink and black cat print one. Haven’t got a particular reason for doing one, but just feeling generous. Continue reading »
It’s been a busy January so far & I’ve not had time to blog too much, but I did manage to get hold of another of these gorgeous cat print scarves for you to win. You all loved the pink & black scarf we had for a prize last time, so when I nipped into the shopping centre I thought I’d get another. Hope you like it.
It’s in black & dark cream, I know it looks black & white, but that’s just the flash measuring 168 cm x 40 cm approximately so long enough to wear various ways. Maybe around your waist as a belt or perhaps a headband. It will dress up any outfit, changing your work clothes in to something suitable to go out in after you finish.
It would be ideal present for the feline lover, or perhaps as a Valentine Day present for the love in your life.

Goldshield Technologies 24 hour Hand Sanitiser comes out as foam, therefore very light on your skin and dries in a matter of seconds. It has a lovely scent to it not too overpowering like you sometimes get with the hand gels. My little Princess Olivia loved it, she thought it smelt nice too.
It kills 99.99% of germs on contact.
It doesn’t contain any alcohol so very fantastic for use on small children when there are mucky hands with no wet wipes or towels in sight. Also has a moisturiser built in.
It is a very handy size, will fit into your hand bag nicely or perhaps even hand luggage. An essential for camping or festival goers, pop concerts, shopping or at the playground.
Perfect for every day use, both inside & out.
I would highly recommend it.
We’ve been lucky enough to have been sent a further two cans for us to giveaway, so we will select two winners for this Rafflecopter giveaway.

I’ve been a driver for over 25 years & even before that I knew what most of the road signs meant, I think I just learned from being a passenger & I seem to remember when going on holiday with my parents we made a game of spotting different road signs.
Five of us have just had a week in Whitley Bay in Northumberland, Granddad Al, Mummy H, Jake, Grace & myself, whilst driving to go shopping in the town Jake started telling us what the traffic road signs meant & when it was safe to go at traffic lights & loved shouting Granddad it’s green you can go now!
He’d seen the no smoking one in the caravan and had told us it meant no steam, as in from a train, he’s a massive Thomas the Tank engine fan. We explained what it actually was & he was a bit confused as he had seen the lady in the next caravan sitting on the step having a cigarette.
He spotted the no entry sign & knew what that meant, so all good so far.
We saw speed limit signs & he knew them.
The one that totally threw us was when he said it means “No Boomerangs”.
No Right Turn
Just think about it for a minute & you will understand what he means. We should have really corrected him, but he was so sure that’s what it meant, we didn’t have the heart to do so.
Has your little ones come up with any funny idea’s about signs that we take for granted?
MyBuddy-Box a fantastic alternative to the carrier bag
With carrier bags now costing at supermarkets we wanted something as an alternative, infact we’ve been looking for something to replace of them for quite a while, this MyBuddy-Box is a great option & we use it regularly.
Do you know carrier bags are used for an average of 20 minutes but can take hundreds of years to break down? I didn’t know that, like most people, I do take carriers bag back to the supermarket to be reused for the next shop, but think nothing of getting an extra one if they are full. I am shocked by learning that. That’s when I heard about MyBuddy-Box & it’s idea’s, the company is a modern day David taking on Goliath or the supermarket & shops. MyBuddy-Box is a portable, foldable & reusable box, that is fantastic.
I already love my MyBuddy-Box, I’ve used it mainly on supermarket runs. But even going the local shopping centre has become easier by using it. I just get a trolley from my local discount store, put my MyBuddy-Bo in it & do my shopping around the centre, then when I get back to the car, Grandad Al just lift’s it out & pops it in the boot, no need for countless carrier bags from all the different stores.
The people at MyBuddy-Box want to create a pressure group & persuade these supermarkets that customers deserve the right to at least be offered an alternative option to the bags for life & floppy bags already on offer. MyBuddy-Box not only will provides an improved, permanent & reliable way of transporting groceries but it is much better value for money than any bag for life, hessian bag out there. These boxes not only have thousands of uses but will last for decades with constant use.
MyBuddy-Box are just a small start up, whose ultimate goal is to get the supermarkets to wake up & to start listening that they ought to be doing much more than they are (which is really nothing) in coming up with alternative solutions to help us consumers, for when the plastic bag tax comes in to force this October.
MyBuddy-Box not only will provides an improved, permanent & reliable way of transporting groceries but it is much better value for money than any bag for life, hessian bag out there.
Apart from doing the shopping, the box can be used to store toys, wool, files & folders, books, shoes, baby essentials, summer/winter clothes, in the boot of the car for all the extra things we seem to collect (junk in our case), infact hundred, probably thousands of things. They are even stack able so you could keep each childs toys in a different box
When it’s folded it becomes ‘briefcase’ size: 32 x 25 x 4cm.
Open it’s 32 x 25 x 55cm.
Opens out in seconds into a lightweight, strong, rigid, stackable box
Ergonomically designed with comfy handholds
Tested to be able to carry in excess of 20kg – that’s more than the average customer can lift and carry.
It fits into most Supermarket trolleys.
It takes second to put up & fold when you’ve finished.
The box comes in a range of colours & designs, I think my bird & flower design called Paradise is fab, but they also come in Eco Black, Eco Blue cost £9.99, Rose the blue satchel, Harley the wooden crate, Wild the leopard print & Henley the wicker delight. They cost £14.99, which is a small amount to layout compared to all the carrier bags that we have purchased over the years. If you use product code FAMILY you will be able to get free P&P off any orders.
So which pattern are you choosing & how are you going to use your MyBuddy-Box?
I was sent a MyBuddy-Box free of charge, but the review is my honest opinion..
Review:ClareaBella Bags & Personalised Picture Frame from Toxicfox
Well what can I say, it has arrived yesterday very well packaged personalised to my choice, so I had chosen the option of Heart Glossed Frame from the Typography of Love range, then I had to choose my own personal 10 words that I would like in the picture so I have added family names and loving words. I chose my own colours of writing which I had chose silver and black as that would be lovely colours to match the rest of my living room. Then I had to chose the colour of my frame, I chose white, as I have a few black framed pictures so thought the white would be lovely to even it out.
It was created and silver gems which gives it a fantastic effect and looks perfect
You can buy this for £39.99 on the website www.toxicfox.co.uk
If your not sure how this would look then you are in for a treat! As you can do a demo using their website so you can have a sneaky preview of how it will look by just adding your own words, font colour… then just add to cart and it will be sent to you in the post.
I received mine, delivered lovely and signed for. I couldn’t fault the service received and how well packaged the item was! With lots of bubble wrap! (Well I’m sure I could write a whole new review on that, my son has been popping it all day!
This is such a lovely item and would definitely be lovely as a special gift to someone as it’s very personal and has that extra special touch to it.
ClaireaBella Bag Review
I was lucky enough to be offered my choice of the lovely bags to review. They are beautifully handcrafted jute fashion bags, that have been used by celebrities from all over the world & now me!
The process of selecting what, or maybe that should be who, you want on your Brideabella bag is really easy.
Choose the name or text your require( up to 12 characters)
Choose your hairstyle. You can choose from selection including long, short, curly, straight, even afro. I chose hair style number 3 Curly that even has a bit of bling in.
Hair Colour. Again there is lots of choice from grey, black, blonde, red, brown with highlights, brunette, dark brown & the one I chose auburn, although I nearly went with the red, but decided that as I’m going to colour my hair for the festive season auburn I’d have the bag to match!
I’ve tried to show the hint of bling in the hair here
Choose an outfit: This is the step I found most difficult, not because it’s hard, but it’s like when you are going out & deciding what to wear, I just kept selecting the different outfits and eventually settled on number 2 Glitz. You can selected Glam, Chic, Posh, Brideabella, Relaxed, Precious Cargo (this would be a lovely baby shower gift), Hot Pink Dress, Rock Chick & Gymabella. You can see why I had a difficult choice.
Choose your eye colour. This was probably the easiest step I have blue eyes, but once again there are different choices.
Choose your skin tone. Well they didn’t have milky white, so I chose the fair, I’m usually the colour of your pint of milk, but decided with a bit of face glam on I would be a fair.
Now your finished look will appear in a picture further down the page & you can change your mind about different outfit, or hair as you see the finished look.
I’m so please with this bag I can’t tell you how much I love it! With the additional bows & diamantes it’s just perfect. At a cost of £39.99 it’s a fab price it’s all “hand made with love” as the little heart says.
I took it to show Mummy M last night & my grand daughter Olivia took a shine to it. She took all my things out & added her jigsaws, he snow doggy & snow man, popped it on her shoulder & declared it hers! I had to wait until she had gone to bed to reclaim it.
If you really can’t think of a gift for someone try the Toxicfox gift finder, just put in who the gift is for & see the choices appear, you can set your budget from £1.99 to £350.00 there’s bound to be something to suit. Also why not check out view their gift guide videos, you should be able to pick up the links for the videos on our youtube channel http://youtube.com/user/toxicfox .

We were offered these two items to review free of charge but the views are our honest opinions.
Black Friday is the first Friday after the American Traditional Thanksgiving and is often regarded as the start of the Christmas shopping season. It’s a US invention that’s crept it’s way into UK culture, as so many things have done.
Retailers latch on to any excuse to attract shoppers with special offers and discounts, this one has grown & grown over here.
This year Thanksgiving falls on Thursday 24th November so Black Friday will be on the 25th. A lot of UK shops & businesses have jumped on the band wagon & see this as a good opportunity to give some great discounts to boost their Christmas sales.
If you are looking for a big ticket item or a special gift it would probably be a good idea to have a look on line at the relevant stores to see if you can get a bargain or at least some reduction in the price. But do your homework first, find out if it is really at it’s lowest price.
Remember it’s only a bargain if you need it.
I know Amazon are running some amazing offers all week that change every 10 minutes, Amazon Black Friday
Do let us know if you get a Black Friday bargain, but do be careful.
