Chewits Sweets Giveaway

Chewits Sweets Giveaway

We were sent 3 packs of CHEWITS to review, they are all from a Halloween range aiming their range at children for the spooky day.  I let Jake choose which pack to try first, he chose to try ‘Chewits Chewmix’

Chewits Chewmix

On the front of the packet it has a dragon covered in bandages to make it look like a mummy, along with spooky bats and trees and full moon. We opened the packet, looking for flavours to choose, which we like and noticed that they all have the same colour wrappers, so it luck of the draw what you get!

There are Strawberry, Blackcurrant and Fruit Salad I liked this idea of all being wrapped the same as it means no fighting over which ones you get, as having my two children, they always want the same and want which each other has! Each sweet is wrapped in a white Chewits wrapper, with the dragon on. You get a lovely flavour and not over powering just as a nice treat, they aren’t too hard or to soft, so nice to know I’m giving my 2 year old something she can chew on and then swallow instead of chewing on a sweet for ages and being scared she will choke. They went down really well and were my favourite of the lot. They are available to buy from ASDA, Tesco and other good retailers for RRP of £1.29, I think it is a good price for what you get and for the variety.

We then tried the ‘CHEWITS EXTREME CHEWMIX’ There is 2 different flavours in this packet you have a choice of Sour Apple or Tutti Frutti. On the front of the packet we are presented with a pumpkin, dragon and haunted house with bats flying around. Upon taking them out the packet you realise that they are slightly larger than the normal size Chewit sweets you would expect.

First we tried the pink one which is Tutti Fuitti flavoured, it has a fruity sour taste and you get hits of sour all the way through until the sweet is finished! Where normal sweets would lose their flavour to the consumer after a little while, this one lasts all the way through! Then we tried the Sour Apple. You really get the fresh ‘biting into an apple taste’ but in a chew toffee version instead, once again a strong sour lasting flavour but they are really enjoyable. The sour apple was Jake’s favourite flavour, whereas Grace went for her second pink Tutti Frutti, but that maybe because she loves pink!  These are available to buy from ASDA, Tesco and other good retailers for RRP of £1.29, which I think is a good price especially for the explosive tastes.

Chewits

The last bag we tried was Chewits Vampire Fangs Presented with the dragon wearing a cape to be like Dracula with haunted house and flying bats all over the packet.  These are “fangtastic” flavour jelly sweets’.

Chewits

ChewitsThey are in the shape of vampire teeth with fangs, instantly Jake loved these and had one at the top and one at the bottom attempting a vampire mouth, he tried! He enjoyed these and went back for extras. They are fun for children and they will definitely be enjoyed by children of all ages at Halloween and no doubt they will try and do the same as Jake did by attempting to be a little vampire themselves as well! These will be great for giving out to children at Halloween or just to have in the house for a house party! They are available to buy from Tesco and other good retailers from the price of £1.29.
